Aren’t we all done with the peppy narrative of constant gibbing around What Woman Want??

Why waste time giving long paras and proses of briefs of what they want when they are simply making headlines by getting close to Handsome STAT. of their Career Growth??

?And now the TOI Survey also said so…

The recent news article of TOI ‘Hiring of Women in C-Suit roles going up: Survey’ stated that a decade back the % of women as CXOs was 7-8 % and CEOs & MDs 2%, that has now risen to 16% and 8 % and this exponential stats draws a certainty for this % will be get pushed up to 50-60% in the coming years.?

But what makes me and several other C-Suite Women smile big is that this stat is specifically for Marketing, Finance, and Tech positions in the industries that were lately considered to be Male-dominant but now that narrative can be seen fading away.?

But how did this graph Reposition?


  1. Gender Bias is losing the stake to Meritocracy

Ladkiya Ladko se zyda pdhaku hoti hai’ was often said and heard but its acceptance always drew a blank in old times but these years are different. Today meritocracy has gained recognition and so has the perspective, ideas, and the ability to shoulder professional responsibilities. And this has made capable woman toise up to the C-suite and cement their positions.?


2. The leadership investment programs.?


Leadership and mentorship programs have been a strong aid in training and educating them for the much-needed mentorship, coaching, networking, and skill-building to suit the C-suite. These programs tailored women to develop a strong understanding of intricate tweaks of the corporate functioning.?


3. The Positive Narrative and Networking?


The supremacy of the Narrative can not be denied. In recent years, the narrative around women holding higher positions has been very positive with strong Advocacy. This has led to the emergence of affinity groups. Woemewn leadership network, association, and several other groups have helped a lot many women to rise the ladder in their respective career roles

The Fine print is that a rising % of women in the C-Suite is a massive step toward making corporate leadership inclusive in a diverse capacity.??
