Women in the IT industry

A pleasure to greet you, my name is Rosan Mendoza, and I'm the Regional Human Capital Manager at Netser Group. Today I want to share my personal experience. Four years ago, when I got the excellent opportunity to undertake this professional challenge, such as working for an IT services company.

I must confess that I had to get out of my comfort zone because I came from another sector with a very different dynamic. One of the biggest challenges was the IT profile selection processes because each process required me to study and understand the profile description, know what technical skills the candidates should have, as well as hold meetings with the immediate supervisor. of the vacancy to resolve doubts, which helped me save time when starting the search and to be able to present suitable candidates who meet the required requirements.

Another of the objectives achieved with the help of my work team and the support of Netser Management was digital transformation, it was a key step for Human Capital, and because of this implementation today we have an information system in the Human Capital Department, which allows us to manage all processes in an automated way.

In general, during my early days, I had to study and learn to align myself with the IT service environment, and I can say with absolute certainty that technology became one of my passions.

Today I take this opportunity to congratulate all women, we know that women have been present in technological fields since its inception, iconic figures such as Ada Lovelace, considered the mother of computing, or Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler, with the invention of Wifi and Bluetooth by creating a system to detect remote-controlled torpedoes and send transmission signals between frequencies of the magnetic spectrum.

I want to leave you with this final reflection: I am grateful for everything that Jesus did to show honor and respect to women during a very dark time in history.
