Women of the Future Newsletter
Welcome to the 2nd Women of the Future Newsletter of 2023. The first few months of this year?has reinforced my belief in the importance of community and supporting others in their journey. It was a wise man who once said?“if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together.”?
So it is with the Women of the Future community, we have developed a supportive and nurturing culture that enables people to go far and believe in their dreams. ?
In 2016, we took the programme to Southeast Asia and we now have multiple initiatives which span different countries and continents. I am delighted that we have launched the 2nd year of our global 50 Rising Stars in ESG initiative and encourage everyone to nominate an exceptional female leader driving positive change in their communities.?
The strand connecting all of our programmes has always been kindness and we have now also opened nominations for our Kindness & Leadership initiatives in both Asia Pacific and the UK.?Having grown up in Calcutta, I am reminded of one of the inspiring iconic leaders of our time who embodied kindness -??Mother Theresa. Which leader can you recognize who embodies kindness to drive business results. Nominate them today and be the change YOU want to see in the world.
In the first year of the campaign, the list included women from 22 nations from all areas of the world, and we developed a network of these changemakers to improve awareness in a nascent industry and provide a platform for listees to connect and exchange best practises and knowledge.?
Nominations for the second year of this worldwide effort are now open, and we want to continue our goal of highlighting exceptional leaders committed to driving change across the different areas of ESG. However, we cannot create a comprehensive list from the outside looking in. We welcome you to share your stories about women who are leading and pioneering in their fields!na
More information on how to submit a nomination and the categories can be found on our website below: https://esg.womenofthefuture.co.uk/

Our Kindness & Leadership, 50 Leading Lights UK, in associations with KPMG UK and Asia Pacific, in association with Asia Square is currently open for nominations!
We see this campaign as a unique chance to build a new status quo, sharing advice and expertise from leaders and recognising the contribution of kind leaders to business, the economy and society. Kindness isn't only being "nice" and saying "yes.“ It is a willingness to be vulnerable (after all, we are all human) and a generosity of spirit that enables a leader to be empathic, listen, and build the confidence of each member on their team.
Nominees can be either Senior Leaders in a position of leadership who can directly affect the culture of the company and industry within which they work, or a Rising Star who is on their journey to a higher position and demonstrates a remarkable leadership style.
If you know anyone that embodies these principles of kindness, we encourage you to put them forward so we can shine a light on the impact they have. Nominations for both UK and Asia Pacific can be submitted directly on our website – https://www.kindnessrules.co.uk/
