• David Solomon encourages Goldman Sachs employees to come up with startup ideas and develop them in-house. Now, Louisa, an AI-powered social media startup that’s been used by their employees for the last two and a half years, is an independent company led by Rohan Doctor .
• David Beckham’s metaverse dreams have?come to life.
• OpenAI dropped their ChatGPT app for iOS. (Don’t worry, Android is next)… Meanwhile, Apple just pre-announced the release of Personal Voice, where users will be able to create an AI-generated voice of themselves.
• Polygon co-founder Julia Schmidt and the venture capital firm he helped found, Symbolic Capital, announced a fellowship to provide early-stage builders with financial support in making the jump from web2 to web3. It will be a $500,000 cohort of 10 builders selected each year.?Apply here.
• Amazon is still chugging away at their NFT marketplace, promising 15 collectibles to debut next month.
• Christian Klein and Satya Nadella announced how Microsoft and SAP will deliver next level AI innovation to the enterprise. (Thanks for the news tip, Nicolle Gurule Sternberger )
• In more partnerships, Anton Umnov and Helika announced their work with Coinbase to build with Base, an L2 network on Ethereum.
• Brian Armstrong , Jesse Pollak , and Coinbase announced Base Camp, an educational platform for web3 ETH developers that will roll out in coming weeks.
