Women in Delinian - Evelina Hadzhieva

In March, we will have a series of short interviews introducing women in Delinian Bulgaria. In our first article, we ask?Evelina Hadzhieva, Data Platform Architect, about her role and experience working in tech.

Q: What is your role? Which brand do you work for?

My current role is Data Platform Architect. My time is split between several different brands.?

Q: What is it that you do, and what is a typical day for you?

We find solutions and ways to improve data and user experience with the brand's team. Sometimes I spend time speaking to different people from the brands to understand their problems (technical problems only, mainly related to data ??). Sometimes I get my hands dirty and look into their data myself.

Q: Have you always known that you want to work in tech? How did you decide to go into your field??

I knew I wanted to do something that wasn't boring (my younger version was doing the judgment ??). Working in technology means constantly learning new stuff, always facing new challenges, and always having something to catch up on. Therefore, no time to get bored.

Q: What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in the tech industry??

It is going to be demanding and sometimes hard. But it will also be fun, and it will be worth it when you get up to speed. Don't give up.

Q: How the 4.5-day week helped you balance work and life? What do you do on Friday afternoon?

I love Friday afternoons! I use the time to do sports, pack for the next day's adventure, or even head to the mountains directly on Friday; why wait for Saturday?
