Have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t win the contract and you found yourself either feeling relieved, or feeling like, well of course it didn’t come off, people like you do not get contracts like THAT?

Our beliefs about what we can achieve or what is right or wrong make a massive impact on the decisions we make and the actions we take. The rational and logic employed by your brain as you go about your day dictates everything from what we do, what we eat, what we wear, where we go. It is so interesting when you start to listen to that voice and the advice it gives you.

In order to grow your business, you are basically taking a running jump and throwing yourself against the wall that your mind has built for you. So when you go for that contract, not only are you working to win the work, but you’re also working to break down that mental block. We only aspire to something if it feels like it is believable to us.?

We often have really fixed ideas about what we are allowed to receive because somewhere deep in our minds we have an idea of what our lives will look like.?

Growing a six or seven figure consulting business explodes that narrative. You can receive so much more in terms of revenue, personal wealth, but also credibility, the trust of people you haven’t even met because they like the words you say or write. It can be overwhelming to receive that if you haven’t done the mindset work and started to expand that view of what your life can or will look like.
