Women Consultants, Does Your Business Have A Secret Codename?

Welcome to the latest edition of the Seven Figure Consultant LinkedIn Newsletter - which is now released twice a week.?Don't forget that you can get daily updates from Jessica in your LinkedIn news feed?by accessing her LinkedIn profile and hitting Follow.?She will be sharing insights and discussions through the week that she would love to hear your views on.

What’s the secret mission behind your business? Is there something you really want to achieve and your consultancy business is the path to get you there?

My business plan’s secret code name has always been ‘The Secret Millionaire’. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, I don’t aspire to be Insta famous or a mini celebrity. The second reason is I don’t want to wear my wealth on the outside.

One of the things I love most is being able to partner with charities and organisations in a low-profile way. I was recently able to support a project in my city. I’d seen a situation and thought, I can contribute there. So I got in touch and asked how I could help.

You can create an impact when you build your business with an eye to the wider ripple effect you want to make in the world around you.

So often we park our truck at Six Figures. The majority of people never make it to this level so it’s this shiny trophy that seems ever so elusive. And you can do a lot with Six Figures. But if you have a Seven Figure business you can do so much more.

When you are at Six Figures it is really easy to have a freelance team who work for you and all work for other people. But when you reach Seven Figures, things will need to change in the structure of your business, especially in terms of your people. You will make hires in areas such as support, delivery, operations, marketing. You become an employer. You create an opportunity for someone else. You’re making an economic impact.

And you have the ability to factor your mission into your company culture and what you do. That could be creating opportunities for people to work with you, or through corporate social responsibility. Perhaps there is a cause you are passionate about and you know you could make a difference once you reach a certain level in your business.

What’s your vision for what your business will enable you to do? Picturing it will help you make your secret business ideas come to life.

Let me know in the comments, do you prefer to keep some aspects of your work under wraps?

I've created a free PDF report called The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Business.?It’s my most popular free resource and in it I outline the 6 areas of unscaled businesses that need to change in order to move past being ‘booked up and burned out’ and shifting into that higher gear that gets you cruising again.

It’s the framework that helps consultant women like you find their feet and get back to leading the business, rather than being buried in client work and back-end business operations.

Sign up here for your PDF report, and I'll show you the six elements your consultancy needs to make the shift from a nice little 6-figure lifestyle business to a serious 7-figure enterprise.
