Women as Centrepreneurs: a face-lift

Are Women leading their business as #Centrepreneurs? When Women are the founders of an organisations, what are the drivers? As Women business owners do they have ideologies which helps them differentiate from regular business leadership style? As co-founder of a business does she bring a commitment which is above usual? Do we agree that today's women entrepreneur causes face-lift inducing high impact?

All these question leads us to examine the competency of today's women leaders who are known for their inspirational leadership as #Women-of-substance. First of all let's understand who is a #Centrepreneur?

According to some management gurus, “Centrepreneurship” happens when innovators and leaders create companies and organizations that put the person at the center of their concern. Does this make any difference to an organisation? In fact, it is beleived  that such companies realise that the "company exists for people, not people for the company". An #organisation is built keeping in mind various #resources and one of such resource is people. This triggers a thought that #people are part of a basket of resources which helps a #business-to-grow. We grew up #learning about a business is built with help of Multiple #Ms such as Machine, Money, Material, Method and woMan. Then when did we include Women in the business and how did we change addressing the workforce as #people instead of Men is a separate study.

We are looking at people as centrifugal force of an organisation who are integrating the quintessence of a business together. As a guru a renowned woman leader, who is also a women entrepreneur, puts in that "The essential fundamentals of any venture, the participants and their roles are like an atom with electrons and protons which move in tandem with the energy."  This may sound simple, but it has far reaching consequences. 

"The human person is the only investment with an infinite return on investment". Centrepreneurs create companies where the employees are the competitive advantage. These companies' key #differentiator is their founders and the employees. The ideas which a successful entrepreneurs bring in and work around are critical to business #venture. The basics such as 5M does not change, what changes according to such gurus, is the way in which an entrepreneur commands the force of the entrepreneurial atom!

Therefore, Centrepreneurs create goods that are truly good and provide services that truly serve human customers. A woman entrepreneurs is groomed to focus on both "Need" and "Want" while she is brought up to look after her family members and such traits she brings to the business life. An international psychologist Daniel Goleman have reiterated that "Emotional intelligence has four parts: self-awareness, managing our emotions, empathy, and social skill. There are many tests of emotional intelligence, and most seem to show that women tend to have an edge over men when it comes to these basic skills for a happy and successful life. That edge may matter more than ever in the workplace, as more companies are starting to recognize the advantages of high EI when it comes to positions like sales, teams, and leadership". The entrepreneurial skill of an woman combines business acumen and #emotion-quotient to encompass people as focal point to large extent. This relates to her ability to show-case both hard and soft side of her persona and encourages human resources as Centrepreneurs to be productive and an #achiever. As Centrepreneurs they focus to produce sustainable return on investment for human investors. This attitude and ownership helps a woman leader to furnish true face-lift to the organisations she belongs, as an #Entrepreneur or an #Intrapreneur.
