Why do you keep repeating past mistakes?

Why do you keep repeating past mistakes?

For Women Business Owners

Why do you keep repeating past mistakes?

Why are you not as successful as you thought you would be?

The reason is this: you believe success is about having the right information.

And for that reason, it isn’t long before you think you need more and better information.

You keep seeking something that does not help, and it returns full circle to the same failure that caused you to seek in the first place.

You don’t get it - that knowing what to do and implementing what you know are two entirely different things.

You believe you don’t know what to do. So you look for more information.

Even though you have so much information right now that your head is spinning, you still think you don’t know how to succeed.

But, information is not what’s missing. (Are you listening? Information is not what’s missing.)

Transformation is what’s missing.

Transformation: as in altering who you are being.

It is an altering of where you’re coming from.

Learning to live in a straight line to where you want to be.

It’s all about learning to always find the shortest distance between you and your objective.

Charlene Burke is a business owner who has experienced the transformation needed to become more:

From being afraid of people, places, and things to the point of not ever speaking up in a group...

to being able to speak effectively from the stage to small and large groups of people.

From believing she was unimportant and insignificant...

to fully embracing that her experiences and knowledge are needed, welcomed and asked for by others.

From having her confidence shaken and beaten down from repeated tragedies, illnesses and financial distress and despair...

to living Life in Thrive Mode! which is grounded by principles of living that enable her to be Better Today than who she was yesterday.

Charlene, Great question. Mistakes are 'missing to take' the point. In fact getting the right answer, requires a lot of assumptions and ones attempt to choose between alternatives intelligently and not repeating the same error done previously. Mistaking once is learning but repeating it is foolishness. With every single mistakes there has to be transformation in terms of experience. Good point. Regards.
