Woman as a Boss? Not in your life! ? This question was asked to men in 1922, 1932, 1952 all through today to 2022.? The replies were not much better.? From the quote, she’s not as good as a man boss or she’s entirely out of the question as a boss.? According to zippia.com data only 42% are women supervisors while 55% are men supervisors.???

The question is, had women made progress in companies as supervisors?? Some of the men, I have asked said no.? One gentleman said, “the faults of the woman who holds an authoritarian position in business today are entirely not all of her own faults.”? He explained that many women in past years who never made it to a management position were faults of the company itself.? The company had to change demands, work procedures, outdated rules, and regulations. computer glitches, temper-tantrum employees/management.? Also, he mentioned when companies started doing business overseas many organizations wanted mostly male managers/supervisors because many of the companies were in male-dominant countries such as India, China, Iran, Turkey, etc.? The companies did not want to work with a female boss.???

One woman business owner said, “women bring in a faculty for getting things done and right down to the last details that should not be held against her.” ? She added, men allow businesses to operate on their own standards and women see that they can improve the job more adequately than men and this can make certain men go berserk that a woman can do a man’s job.??

What is interesting is most married men accept a female boss better than a single man will. Married men feel the women oversee the house and they are merciless during housework, and they keep men on their trail to keep the house in precise order.? As one man stated, one ‘s wife was the best director of a man’s training in the working world.???????

A mortgage broker quoted those female bosses get too bossy or obnoxious. When a woman gets to be a financial boss, she becomes dictational.? I have worked under a few and found myself exiting the company early. Certain men have stated they have looked for other work when they were assigned a female boss.???

Another male said I think what happens is the female boss looks after office details so relentlessly that she confuses her subordinate's intelligence with her own, especially when the assistant is a male. I know a woman who became a manager but still relied on her male coworkers to help her when she needed them in the supervisor role. She was not hired to rely on her male counterparts when she took the job but to think on her own. She soon had to step down from the position because she could not comprehend for herself.???

Also, it can be difficult for a female boss to call in male bosses above her to speak to female employees below her to strengthen disputes and clear up tangles at work. “You cannot put things over on a female boss,” said a female employee of a large government firm. “Women bosses do not treat other women under them with consideration sometimes when they become a supervisor or manager.”??

One man said that his job was his bread and butter and was a stepping stone to an executive position. He resented female bosses, especially those who are married to a board member, or an executive who is related to them. That is only the reason why they got the supervisor in the first place. Another gentleman at a firm said, men do things well and women do things well. Why not let them work for the same sex. It seems to work out better for everyone in the end. Each sex understands the other one. You do not have guessing games on what the other person is thinking or misunderstandings at work.???

One man said I know a woman who worked over a PR firm. She had been there for years and climbed the ladder, but she did not let women speak their minds or ask questions during presentations or interviews for other positions.? She was finally fired from her job because she only wanted inexperienced women working for her so she could tell them what to do. She should have hired people with experience and kept them too.? She had her own insecurities.???

One woman stated that she thinks all women are competitive, but most men are not.? Male bosses can spend up to two hours for lunch including a game of golf or work out at the gym. Female bosses seldom leave for lunch.? She feels she is in a salaried position, and she gives her whole time to the job.???

Another woman said she blames female liberation for female bosses treating women employees poorly.? “Along the way, we forgot to treat each other well and the female boss forgot where she started from, the bottom level.”?

She demonstrated an example. We had a woman come into work for our company temporarily and she had two master’s degrees and was working on her doctrine at the time.? The female boss was amicable to her but when she found out she had more education than the female boss she made up an excuse to get rid of her real fast.? The boss felt threatened by her because she was recommending ideas that the company could do to save time and money, and this made the boss look like a simpleton.?

Female bosses need to keep the actions consistent of all employees, not just men in general.? In the 1990’s up until the early 2000’s. Men were asked by various polls what they wanted in a boss.? Seventy-five percent men said that men were more able to get disciplined from a male boss than a female boss. And male bosses were more severe than women bosses for their punishment.??

One man said the difference in male vs female bosses is as night and day. Men who can tell jokes to, touch on the arm, patronize behavior, clown around with, go out and have a drink after work with, shoot pool or play golf with on the weekends. Woman bosses, you cannot do that with, and she should be respected, and some are not.????

So, the question is, should women be bosses??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
