The Women in IT Awards 2018 winners!

Another fantastic event celebrating women in technology and those advocating a gender-balanced industry among an incredible audience of 1,200 in London.

Maggie Philbin started our evening off with a 6pm interview on Sky News about the importance of the Women in IT Awards before welcoming our very own Ben Rossi to introduce the event. Baroness Martha Lane Fox then delivered an inspiring keynote address sharing her own experiences as well as bringing home the dangers if gender parity isn't achieved in the technology world. 

Headline sponsor Amazon Web Services was represented on stage by Caroline Glackin, who delivered an honest representation of the struggles she has faced in the industry and how her employer is addressing diversity in the workplace.

After a fantastic three-course dinner, the big moment finally came when the winners of 19 awards were announced and presented with their trophies. The full list can be viewed in the attached link.
