Each victory fueled my ambition to constantly challenge myself.With this determination driving me, I embarked on the path to earning a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. It wasn't long before I found myself entrusted with the role of Satellite Specialist for NASA's Aqua and Aura Satellites. The profound science behind these missions stirred a deep-seated inspiration within me, igniting a desire to make an even greater impact.Seizing the opportunity to deepen my involvement, I transitioned into the position of Instruments Engineer for Aqua, driven by an unyielding thirst for knowledge. This quest led me to become a certified guidance navigation and control engineer, marking a pivotal juncture in my career trajectory. As I welcomed new engineers into the fold, my passion for mentoring and fostering success blossomed.Recognizing my leadership potential, the management team encouraged me to pursue a role as an engineering manager—a prospect that filled me with excitement. Within a mere four years of entering the workforce, I found myself appointed as the deputy operations manager for the Earth Observing Missions (EOS) Aqua, Aura, and Terra. In this capacity, I discovered a profound sense of fulfillment in guiding and empowering teams toward excellence.In tandem with my professional growth, I pursued further academic enrichment, earning a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University. Alongside my personal achievements, I was fortunate to benefit from the guidance of remarkable mentors who urged me to add commissioning to my repertoire of experiences.The opportunity to contribute to the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) project presented itself at the perfect moment. This mantra resonates with me deeply. It underscores the importance of self-belief, resourcefulness, and strategic planning. Along the journey, there may be setbacks, both minor and seemingly impossible, but persisting through them yields great reward.
