“We spend way too much time telling women, ‘Well, if you just got a mentor, if you got a sponsor, if you got rid of your imposter syndrome’ — we just have to acknowledge that that’s not the problem. The problem is that we’ve never built workplaces that work for women. Basic things, like the work day is 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and the school day is 8 a.m.–3 p.m. — we set mothers up to fail.”?
