To the women who never got the chance. I see you.

To the women who were questioned for not wanting children. I see you.

To the women who were told they weren’t welcome. I see you.

To the women who are told they’re not women. I see you.

To the women who are spinning the plates. I see you.

To the women whose plates have smashed. I see you.

To the women wearing masks. I see you.

To the women with masks that are slipping. I see you.

To the women who are tired of wearing the mask. I see you.

To the women who think they’ve f***ed them up. I see you.

To the women who feel trapped. I see you.

To the women who wonder why they can’t ‘do it all’. I see you.

To the women who are unheard. I see you.

To the women who are 'too much'. I see you.

To the women who are called girls. I see you.

To the women that are held back. I see you.

To the women who are held down. I see you.

To the women who keep reaching. I see you.

To the women who lift up. I see you.

The women that went before us,

walk alongside us,
