There is a woman behind every successful man

A woman, not necessarily wife, could be the mother or daughter perhaps a sister as well. It is said that a man can be successful with the best wishes and hard work of the ‘woman behind’.

But I wonder, does anyone (including women) give any importance to such statements today, when more often than not hollow propagandas to magnify “behind every victimized woman, there stands a man” are floated?

I feel women today are more inclined to be successful themselves, always willing to forgo domestic responsibilities, in the name of desired equality.

For a woman to help her man be successful and stay successful, she must have the same winning temperament and at the same time have the love and respect for her man enough to let him shine in public.

What can bring down a successful man is a woman who betray her man in public.

Such a woman cannot simply be a housewife. Household chores can be outsourced.

In times of crisis, his woman must know exactly how to sustain him and protect him from more stress. Such a great woman knows the art and science of full engagement - keep his man physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused, and spiritually aligned.

Such a great woman shares the same vision about the future as her man. Both speaks the same language of leadership, value, and mission.

There is an unbreakable bond between a successful man and his woman. No one can come between them, not even their own grown up children.

Such a winning pair make the hard decisions of life together.

WINNING TEMPERAMENT

Both the man and the woman must have the winning temperament in order to succeed in achieving their common goal. Such a winning temperament comprises these character traits:

Patience (delaying gratification; meeting pain ahead of pleasure, not impulsiveness)

Curiosity (strong desire to find out more about things)

Diligence (excellent work ethics & meticulousness)

Focus (don’t spread yourself too thin)

Frugality (always calculate the return on investment of time, energy, money and opportunity)

Thinking long term (don’t react to daily gyration & petty events)

Argue less, listen more, dialogue more (life is a team sports; be a great team player)

LOVE & RESPECT

There must be love and respect between man and woman. The woman will stand by her man especially when the world is against him.

COMMON STAND

When a man stands in public and make a public speech, his woman is besides him, giving him the thumbs up, in full agreement and support.

Even if there are domestic problems, his woman will defend her man saying:

“Whoever is sinless can throw the first stone.”

A man and a woman succeed as inseparable partners, reciting the same vision:

Thank?you …It used to mean the woman took care of him -cooking, cleaning, running errands, taking care of his clothes - so he could focus on his career. It included a positive attitude, being “presentable” when together at work functions, and supporting him when he needed support. Having a drink ready and looking nice when he got home.

Now, it can mean each spouse supporting the other in their careers.

Being understanding with work-social conflicts (to a reasonable degree), discussing problems from work, maybe proofing a presentation, listening when one needs to vent, and understanding when one works late: being there for them.

It is less likely that one carries the entire burden of cooking, shopping, errands, etc.: a successful agreement compromises who does what without either being labeled into old-fashioned “husband/wife” roles.

Can a woman make a man successful?

Yes.

A man is capable enough to succeed but a woman can influence or inspire him to achieve greatness. There are many examples to support this claim but let us look at a very common scenario.

Woman have great potential to influence people around them whether it’s a friend, brother, partner, colleague or her own kids. Female personality in general is emotionally stronger, accommodating, multitasking and their thinking is definitely not unidirectional like men. Because in general they have EQ higher than most men they adapt easily to a situation than men do.

Men on the other hand are very focused, stable and feel the need to provide and protect the people in their lives. They love to win, especially, win the love and respect of the women their lives. It is this trait of men that gives immense power to women.

If the woman in a man’s life has the right value systems, or is strong enough to give him strength in troubled times, the man can bounce back from any fall in his life.

A simple example is (this is average scenario there may be exceptions) see families where mothers are single and fathers are single. Often woman who have faced very troubled situations inspire their kids to pursue a greater future, while fathers, in spite of all the suffering the silently go through, usually are focused only on providing really well.

I feel we have been gifted to see the good in bad too. This quality we should never let go and also have a holistic approach to understand how decisions taken today will impact not just us but people around us and their future too.

We often see this in the Indian society that if one right woman enters the family, she brings the family together while, if the woman that comes into the family does not have the right head on her shoulder, you see family broken into pieces. This is enough proof that woman is influential and have the power to make or break.

Women as a class motivate men to be successful because women in general want a man's resources to make their lives fecund, safer, and more luxurious.

A mother can rear a boy to grow up to be successful by making sure that he grows up with the love, guidance and discipline of an involved father who serves as a good role model.

Our prisons are jammed full of men who were born to feckless single mothers who had no idea how, nor inclination, to channel the natural energy, aggression, curiosity and risk-taking of boys.

Now, most men define the worth of their lives by how well they serve, protect and provide for the women in their lives, and so merely by existing, looking desirable, and choosing successful men as mates, women are a natural motivator of asexuality, which is the male need to excel past other men in order to distinguish themselves in the eyes of the most attractive women.

But can an individual woman make an individual man successful??
