The Wolf Howl: Happy Heritage Day / Malware Infographic / Browser Spellcheckers sends passwords to Google & Microsoft servers

Greetings Cyberwolves,?

?Heritage Day, AKA National Braai Day, allowed our rainbow nation to embrace its vibrant roots, cultural diversity, and 11 official languages with music, family, and food. It may sound odd for a nation to celebrate its heritage by cooking meat over an open fire; however, this is the common denominator that connects us. ?

In the true spirit of Heritage Day, we can make a difference by creating an online legacy that is safe and secure for our future generations to inherit. Why not give our heritage the attention it deserves and encourage:

· A visit to one of your favourite heritage sites (in person or online)?

·??SA communities to become cyber savvy from an early age and understand the importance and dangers of interacting online.

· Companies corporate social responsibility to educate and empower their employees positively and meaningfully. Unaware employees can become an organisation's worst nightmare or strongest firewall if trained correctly. ?

The wolf's strength is the pack, and the pack's strength is the wolf. Let us remember our roots, find protection in the pack, and remember the code of the wolf so our legacy can live on:

?Protect your family

Honour the elders

Teach the young

Be loyal to the pack

Voice your opinion

Stand your ground

Always leave your mark!

?Wolfpack would like to wish all our fellow South Africans a Happy Heritage Day.

?Yours Securely

#protectioninthepack?

6Clicks,

Are you mistakenly adopting a security model just because it worked for somebody else? This is more common than you would think. You either do it willingly, thinking it will help improve your security posture, or the idea is sold to you by a service provider who claims to have used the same security approach for another organisation. Either way, a one-size-fits-all approach does not work for security.?
