Woke, Broke, and a Joke.
That’s what they’re calling DEI now.
Because it’s not about equality anymore.
It’s about optics.
Ticking boxes.
And burning cash to do it.
Companies pouring millions into programs—
While the real problems go ignored.
Workplaces still toxic.
Hiring still biased.
But hey, at least the board looks diverse in the brochure.
DEI was meant to level the playing field.
Instead, it’s just another power shift.
Men told to "move aside."
Told to "listen, not speak."
And when they do speak?
They're branded as the problem.
This isn’t inclusion.
It’s division.
It’s resentment.
It’s why people are pushing back.
Because forced balance isn’t balance at all.

3 周In many cases, yes, at Amazon no. They were already implementing DEI before it was trendy. I witnessed it, however, their problem is they treat all those hires minorities or not as fungible assets they can burn out equally too! They weren't forcing a balance, they were just removing as much bias as they could. That's the only good thing I can say about the company.
