Wohlins Fryshus Logistik AB , a Swedish 3PL company specializing in the warehousing, logistics, and transportation of temperature-sensitive food, has one mission: to ensure unbroken cold and frozen chains while maintaining flexibility, structure, and speed. A Rich History in Logistics

The company has a rich history in logistics – the founder Allan Wohlin established Wohlins ?keri in 1970, focusing on ice cream transportation. In the 1990s, the business expanded with the creation of a cold storage company and by 2012, Allan's sons, Tomas Wohlin and Roger Wohlin , took over the family business, continuing its growth and evolution into the successful operation it is today.

Before adopting Ongoing WMS, Wohlins used a less user-friendly system with a rigid pricing model. "Every development and change came with a full price," shared Tomas Wohlin, Warehouse Manager and Owner. This prompted them to explore Ongoing WMS, finding its pricing model worth trying.


Seamless Integration Across the Chain

Ongoing WMS is now integral to Wohlins’ daily operations, managing everything from customer orders to invoicing. "We use Ongoing WMS from customer management to picking and further to invoicing, meaning the entire chain. The customer places an order or imports, then we store, pick, report, print shipping labels, pallet labels, invoicing, and report back to the customer," explained Tomas.

With customers integrating through platforms like Pyramid and Fortnox AB , and an inhouse-built integration with Opter , Ongoing’s compatibility ensures smooth workflows across the board. Wohlins also emphasizes the advantage of allowing their customers to monitor their goods in real-time through Ongoing WMS, a feature that has proven invaluable to both new and long-standing clients.

Wohlins has experienced significant efficiency improvements since adopting Ongoing WMS. "Our administration hasn't increased in proportion to the rise in volume," Tomas noted, highlighting how the system scales seamlessly with their growing business needs.

Collaboration That Delivers

Tomas emphasizes the importance of Ongoing’s collaborative approach. "Our collaboration with our contact person at Ongoing has always worked well, with quick responses, and there is usually a simple solution available, which in turn benefits our customer relationship," he remarked.

This extends to onboarding, where they were impressed by how quickly they could transition. "We started by testing with a few customers. Our initial plan was to import a few customers per invoice period, but its simplicity allowed us to import everything in just a few days," Tomas shared.

Another standout feature for Wohlins is Ongoing’s willingness to work directly with their customers' IT departments. "Ongoing has no issue, with our permission, having direct contact and communication with customers' IT departments to make integrations as smooth as possible," he explained.
