Wobbly Tables: A Customer's Experience
I was at a restaurant yesterday and was reminded why as a restaurant owner I was driven to invent TableJacks. A customer moved a table just a few inches because it was too close to another table for his liking. Unfortunately, the wedge did not move with the table now causing it to wobble. The customer waited for a waitress and then asked her to fix the problem. After unsuccessfully finding and stealing a wedge from another table (which would have then cause that table to wobble) the waitress then went on a search for a new one. Then she touched the 2nd dirtiest part of a restaurant, the floor, before handing him a menu and finally getting his drink after she did not wash her hands. The customer had to wait 10+ minutes before even getting a menu because fixing a wobbly table is a priority. I gave the manager a card for Tablejacks...the waitress was excited. www.tablejacks.com
