When #WNS offered me an opportunity to work in the Philippines, I was really excited. I knew it would present its own challenges, but I was ready to handle them all and give my best to my job.

My move proved to be a wonderful learning experience, on many fronts.

As I slipped into my role and started delivering on the job, I realized that collaboration, sharing knowledge and learning from each other were the key drivers behind the team’s achievements.

These qualities came to the fore as the pandemic spread – everyone united to deal with challenges and took on tasks that were sometimes beyond their assigned roles.

For instance, my colleagues and I were responsible for completing the VPN set-up on the systems that were delivered to the team members. A team member from IT trained us as a group, and after that we set up the systems on our own. The experience gave us a tremendous sense of achievement; along with it we acquired basic skills in IT troubleshooting too.

Supervisors and seniors have also helped me hone my presentation skills, sharing invaluable tips on content, structure and style as the team put together presentations for client reviews.

I would say that along with skills and professional expertise, realizing the meaning of team spirit has been one of my best learnings. #WNSChronicles #WNSer
