??Witnessing the power of a community at Women #BreakingBarriers!

We are just coming off an incredible high after an invigorating day at Women #BreakingBarriers, where trailblazing women in business got together, in Bengaluru last Saturday - and one of the best things we heard this year was how past attendees had worked with each other.

We met people who had hired each other for full-time or project roles; we met people who had become each other's sounding boards, and those who had referred business to each other.

Since this is exactly what we had in mind when we began the Women #BreakingBarriers journey 8 years back, it was a tremendous validation for the entire Women's Web team here. Check out the event pics here.

Among the things we discussed were -

  • How women are spearheading the digital revolution
  • Networking in the Digital Age
  • Making the "Perfect Pitch": How to attract the right investor
  • Tech & Medicine: Creating a new business out of an old problem

and more...

We are looking forward to a similar, inspiring experience in Mumbai, this Saturday, 29th April. Check out the agenda of the day and if you haven't registered yet, do so right away!?

Tech is the present and certainly the future. The 2023 theme for International women’s day is ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’ to empower and encourage young girls and women in the field of technology and also to explore the impact of the digital gender gap.

Due to patriarchal societal norms, fewer women choose STEM subjects and go into the professional fields compared to men, even in 2023. But focused tech certifications will certainly give them a foothold in the future we can see ahead.

Women looking to return to work should consider tech certification courses. Here are 3 reasons why:

  • Having more number of women at the table will allow the advancement of diverse perspectives
  • Solutions will cater better to the needs and interests of the women consumers
  • Technological certification can prove beneficial not only in the tech field but any other domain as well
