Without a building permit for the construction of PV installations for own consumption W11
With the new changes in the Territorial Planning Act, a building permit is no longer required for the construction, repair and replacement of installations for the production of electricity, heat or cooling energy from renewable sources to existing single-family residential buildings and in their land properties, the energy from which will be used only for own consumption with a total power of up to 20 kW.
14 days before the start of construction, a notification is submitted to the chief architect of the municipality, in which it describes the power of the installation and its location, and projects are applied with drawings, diagrams, calculations, technical specifications, guaranteeing the safe operation and protection against the return of electrical energy to the grid.
After the installation, the owner and the contractor sign a declaration, with which, within 14 days, they notify the chief architect of the municipality and the operator of the electricity grid, that the installation has been placed under voltage and has been completed according to the technical documentation.
The Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Territorial Planning enters into force from the day of its promulgation in the State Gazette, namely today - 20.01.2023.
