WI:SIONA celebration for Tom Coyle

While Tom Coyle, Director of Sales, got to celebrate winning a WI:SIONA Gold award in Germany, we wanted to honor him in North America as well. On December 5th, the Bartlett, Illinois office took the opportunity to celebrate Tom’s award with his North American colleagues.

WI:SIONA award - It is an international WITTENSTEIN award that honors outstanding employees for their special achievements beyond the normal call of duty.        

If you know Tom well, you know he does not like individual attention. However, we talked him into having a ceremony in North America. The laudation letter read by Peter Riehle, President & CEO, gave some really good examples of what Tom Coyle is all about. At the conclusion of the ceremony and as a token of appreciation from the entire team, Tom was given a “reserved” WI:SIONA Winner parking spot in front of the building.

Some key points that Peter mentioned about Tom was that he has built great relationships with customers and through those relationships, customers have come to trust Tom. Secondly, Tom is a “doer” and is always focused on “What’s best for our customer….and WITTENSTEIN.” Thirdly, Tom knows that good cooperation is crucial for success, and he sets an example to his team by leading with what he considers to be best.

After the ceremony, Tom thanked the North America team for their support and stated that this award is not just about him. It is also about the great team he has and the great support from all of his colleagues in WITTENSTEIN.
