Wishing you a Happy and Safe Fourth of July

This is the first Independence Day I will celebrate as President and CEO of FedEx Ground. As the new leader of this amazing company, allow me to extend my best wishes to you and your families for a safe and happy holiday weekend. As our nation emerges from the challenges and uncertainty of the pandemic and transitions to a new normal, there is good reason to use this national holiday as an opportunity to count our blessings and recharge our batteries for the road ahead.

I expect that the family reunions, picnics, parades, and festivals planned for this weekend will feel extra special to many of us. Personally, my thanks and appreciation for the herculean efforts of the FedEx Ground team this past year are only exceeded by my optimism and excitement for our future! Working together through the most unusual year in our history has in many ways accelerated our transformation, steeled our resolve and ideally positioned us for what’s next. That’s good news for our customers, our communities and our team members as we look forward to tomorrow.??
