Wishing You Happy Holidays and a Strong Start to 2025

As I am well into the holiday season, I’d like to extend my warmest greetings to all my colleagues and network partners. A special thanks to the Europol communication team for their creative efforts in helping us reflect on this year’s achievements.

This year, our joint fight against complex organized crime demonstrated our collective dedication. Though we haven’t reached the finish line, we’ve made significant strides—and 2025 promises new opportunities to advance our work.

Looking ahead, I see three key efforts that will shape the coming year:

1. The implementation of the Information Exchange Directive and the broader EU Interoperability initiatives.
2. The EU Presidency TRIO (PL/DK/CY) collaboration, which will bring critical momentum.
3. The continued development of National enhed for S?rlig Kriminalitet (NSK) , taking transvers coorperation to next level.
