It's 2024 and we're tidying up the 2024 release wave 1 major release. As I've said before, it's going to be an amazing release with a lot of great features that will empower businesses and individuals to be more productive and efficient, with Copilot adding game-changing capabilities.
Release Planner
If you are following release plans on Learn and not using the Release Planner tool, you're missing out on a cool tool that can help you follow your favorite features across products. Check out the Release Planner:
A great release for customer and partner onboarding
For customers and partners onboarding to and learning Business Central, this release will bring some game changing features, like Copilot Chat where users can be guided to find documentation, and get help on finding and navigating to records. On top of Chat, we're releasing the Ask Copilot action on fields tooltips, which allows users to ask Copilot for help on fields via Copilot Chat, for a one-click field help experience.
This will empower people new to BC to ramp up their skills much faster.
Sharing error messages with an expert
Errors will happen. When they do, it's important that users either understand the error message so they can be led to the source of the issue and fix it, or have an easy way to share the error with the person you want to help with the issue. In this release, we're making it easy to share error details with someone else.

Copilot & Onboarding
Copilot can and will play a part across many areas of Business Central and this goes for user onboarding as well. As already mentioned above, there's a great opportunity for Copilot to guide users, and we've only scratched the surface of what we can imagine Copilot helping users and businesses accomplish.
What's next for Copilot in Onboarding? We'll keep working on cool things to improve onboarding with Copilot, and if you have ideas, feel free to share!
