Wisdom Wednesday: Wisdom is a shelter

"Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it." Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NIV)

Wisdom, according to spiritual understanding, is much deeper than intellectual knowledge. It’s the divine spark, the inner knowing that transcends everyday experiences. Often, we believe that accumulating more knowledge will lead to clarity, but true wisdom is a process of letting go.

As Paul teaches, it is not through striving that we find enlightenment but by awakening the Christ within us, that quiet, guiding voice of intuition. When we release our ego and balance worldly concerns, the path to understanding opens, and with it, spiritual discernment.
