Wisdom Walk - Short Take 2020: Do you look more out of the Rearview Mirror
Jay Galbraith
President ?? BRIDG Serving Osceola County, Florida in its quest to be the semiconductor advanced packaging and work force hub for America ????
As we start 2020 with the countless references to having clear vision and the year being 2020, I want to present to you this Wisdom Walk - Short Take and take a different route for you to think about. In life - as in driving a car, do you spend too much time looking in your rear-view mirror?
We all know the illustration that the windshield is bigger for a reason as we look forward and the rear-view mirror is smaller. However, I contend as I listen to leaders - that as times we tend to look back and focus on our failures, our regrets and at times live in "better days gone by."
Looking back puts us in a position to miss the beautiful path that we may be on - the amazing family and friend scenery right in front of us and the cool career intersection coming up.
As we enter 2020, let the rear-view mirror serve its purpose - to help us learn - but spend time looking at the scenery and focused on the possibilities coming toward you.
