Wisdom Tool: Post-Its! by Dr. Ken McGill, LMFT

As many of you know, I'm writing a book called Cultivating Love: Wisdom for Life, and this Post-It exercise is one of the exercises in the book.

I wanted to share it with everyone because I know I could use a bit more inspiration and wisdom these days and I look forward to reading (and maybe reposting?) your responses. Here's the exercise and thank you very much! Dr. Ken McGill

"I encourage you to use this simple tool to jot down meaningful, inspirational, and motivating statements, phrases, quotes or slogans you’ve heard somewhere in your life journey, and to reproduce it on a “Post-It” note you’ll display somewhere in your environment.

The intent is to create a daily reminder of the wise and valuable nuggets of information you’ve collected over the course of your life. Note (pun intended): If it was meaningful then, it could be meaningful now, and it just might be the input you need to hear to guide your thoughts, feelings and behavior toward positive thinking or inspired outcomes.

So, here’s the 3 x 3 grid, and have fun remembering, recalling, and recording the sage wisdom given to you! Feel free to share your insights with me at [email protected]."
