Wisdom nuggets from a "baby" entrepreneur-pt.1

I should probably start this newsletter by saying that, when you want to start something new and succeed, consistency is key. However, I'm the kind of person who's far from being consistent- to say the least.

So, what does a person like me - who does the very opposite of following "rules of success" - has to do with sharing wisdom? And why even bother reading the rest of my text?

The easy answer is: nothing and don't. However, if you are at least a bit intrigued, hear me out for a few minutes. After spending 10 years of my life in two different industries (not much, I know!), while being neuro-divergent, I've been blessed enough to cultivate a way of thinking that doesn't fit boxes and labels. And crazy enough to never follow whatever everyone else is doing to achieve anything.

You see, thankfully, I realized quite early that success is not a one-size pair of leggings. And that, even if you follow someone else's recipe, at the end of the day you are gonna need to choose your own path in order to keep being successful.

Thus being said, here are a few "wisdom nuggets" I have found in my own path so far:

  1. You are going to fail. No matter how good you are, how much experience you might have or how much you try. This is a fundamental rule and, the soonest you accept it, the better.
  2. Once you accept failure and welcome it like a good friend, you will start finding solutions easier and faster.
  3. Even with all the competition out there, there's always space for you to succeed. People will always find a reason to choose you, if you give them one.
  4. Do it scared. Fear will NEVER go away. After all, it's how we are built. Our brain is always looking for "threads" to protect us from. And when there aren't any, it just creates them on its own to keep justifying that function.
  5. Excitement is your fuel. Some times, your only fuel. So, if someone's telling you to dim that light that keeps you going just ditch them.

Here you have it! The first part of my wisdom nuggets, all yours!

Until we meet again, what are your own wisdom nuggets? Write me in the comments to keep the conversation going!
