Wisdom in the Key of Life

My how time flies and here we are again on the eve of another birthday. (May 1) Living what I teach, it is wonderful to look back and recognize that I have not been sick with even a cold in 25 years since my death experience in Austria in 1993.

I am grateful to have beautiful friends, my ex-husband who is still my closest friend and confidant, pets that are full of love and clients who are thriving. I still would love to have a home of my own, something that has eluded me since the mortgage crisis swallowed mine in 2010. But it is only a ripple in a sea of satisfaction. I am thankful for all of you who over the past 9 years in social media, have made me laugh, cry and you have moved me often to high places.

I wrote a humorous piece for Huffington Post a few years ago chronicling this aging journey and it still applies today. Here is an excerpt of what I've learned along this remarkable path called life. I hope I have inspired, educated, uplifted and brought joy and spiritual insight to at least a few of you and hope you live your life with as much enthusiasm as I have. Thank you for loving me.<3

There are keys to activating the rhythm of flow in life and using them opens every door.

Good character and integrity are the keys to inner peace.

Loving yourself is the key to perfect health.

Giving of yourself is the key to humility.

Serving others is an honor and is the key to inner joy.

Kindness is the key to peace.

Laughter is the key to maintaining a youthful spirit and appearance.

Self-respect is the key to success.

Success is the key to helping humanity and creating a legacy.

Failure is the key to resilience.

Moderation is the key to well-being.

Taking care of your body is the key to preservation.

Crying cleanses the soul and renews the spirit and is the key to purification.

Patience is the key to transformation.

Persecution is the key to greatness.

Forgiveness is the key to grace.

Friends will come and go which is the key to flexibility.

Every race, color and creed is the key to learning and knowledge.

Curiosity is the key to adventure.

Animals are the key to evolving tenderness and compassion.

Nature is the key to the mystical.

Touch is the key to connectivity.

Taste is the key to bliss.

Smell is the key to awareness.

Senses are the key to intuition.

Listening is the key to wisdom.

Closing your eyes is the key to vision.

Meditation is the key to enlightenment.

Prayer and the spoken word are the keys to communication with angels and the Divine and manifest your reality.

I’ve learned that love is the ultimate teacher, the way shower unto all things; love is the answer to every dilemma and the master key which opens every door in the universe.

The age will arrive, when you realize that you have had your day in the sun and it was amazing, beautiful and full of vistas the meek will never behold.

As you walk into the many new and inviting sunsets, wiser and more contented than ever before, the blessing comes in knowing that sunsets are magnificent, they are replete with a glow the earth savors. Sunsets are completion, the end of the beginning, the beginning of the end; where vision extends into the universe, where creation explodes with magic and mystery and the souls’ glow becomes more visible to the Divine.

While a sunrise signifies hope, sunsets demonstrate faith, as you transverse the earth and sky, content with what you have learned and accomplished and eager to blaze a trail and leave a lasting imprint.

Sunsets are the consummate gateway to the stars and it is the stars which light the universe.
