Wisdom from a Techo

I have had techos for a few years; I don't use them to track tasks (that's a job for GQueues www.gqueues.com) but I do jot some notes in them in meetings or when I am reading a book. I use the Hobonichi Techo (https://www.jetpens.com/ stocks them) and enjoy the snippets about Japan (in the back) and the quotes (on every set of pages).
Here is an example that applies to architecting and modeling:
People beginning without confidence tend to learn from those who don't know much. But it's best to imitate the most skilled, even if their expertise looks beyond your ability. Even if you can't imitate the best, study them very intently. At the very least, don't copy the bad habits of the unskilled. Shigesato Itoi, May 20, 2019
