WISDOM FROM PROCESS (Your Teacher Really Matters)

WISDOM FROM PROCESS (Your Teacher Really Matters)

First and foremost, I want to appreciate everyone that has taken the time to read this article on kingdom management. I am truly honored and grateful for what God is about to reveal to you through this article.

I want you to be assured that the person you are learning from isn’t speaking hearsay, instead I have gone through my own process ordained by God which opened up my understanding in ways that I cannot imagine. It was a painful but necessary process that took over seven (7) years of my life, albeit I am entirely thankful to God because I now have an understanding of kingdom management that no one can take from me. Again, I say thank you.

I will begin by telling you two (2) major lessons that I would want everyone to know for the rest of their lives. It is better to start with these two (2) lessons than to gallivant in all areas of life without it. And once you have learnt these two lessons, never let go of them, it would save you years that no money can restore.

Lesson 1

It is not WHAT you learn that matters, but WHO you learn from.

An example are these two (2) students, John, and Joe.

John

John learnt kingdom management under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and a bible-believing kingdom manager. Within five (5) years or less, John was able to walk in kingdom prosperity unlike anything he had ever seen. He was grateful to God, his family, and his teacher.

John learnt the secret of Lot, Abraham’s nephew. Lot’s secret was that he learnt kingdom management from Abraham. Abraham had developed a relationship with God who taught him about virtue, posterity, generational covenant, sacrifices, obedience, building of altars, strategic relationships, living in peace with people especially in a foreign land and much more.

Lot chose to submit to the teachings of Abraham which led him to have similar results with Abraham to the extent that a huge land could not contain the material possession of both Abraham and Lot (Gen 13:5-6).

Joe

Joe on the other hand also learnt kingdom management or so he thought under the guidance of another teacher. After five (5) years or less, he was very frustrated and angry because he was getting confused and felt stagnant day by day. He was not taught that a man’s gift would make room for him (Prov 18:16) or that dying to the flesh and overcoming sin is part of the process to kingdom prosperity (Rom 7:18).

Instead, his teacher’s way of kingdom prosperity was to start different businesses every year based on what seems to be trending or where the so-called money was. After five (5) years with five (5) different businesses and no result, Joe was considering options that were not consistent with the word of God. What I mean is this, the devil can use our pain to his advantage by putting ideas like “yahoo/yahoo-plus”, “money laundering”, “sugar daddy/mummy”, “betting/gambling”, and much more simply because we are ignorant of God’s character and His strategies of attaining generational wealth (Hosea 4:6). This would never be you portion in Jesus Name, Amen.

Lesson 2

It is not WHAT you sacrifice that matters, but WHO you sacrifice for.

An example are these two (2) students, Janet, and Jenny.

Janet

Janet chose to go through the process to ascertain kingdom prosperity. So, she followed her teacher who through faith and patience have obtained the promises of God (Heb 6:12). Her teacher taught her that God’s time is the best even if it seems really slow (2 Peter 3:8-9) and attaining kingdom prosperity required her to endure patiently which was the only way to obtain the promises of God (Heb 15:6). Hence, it was crucial that she did not compare herself with others because everyone’s path was different (2 Cor 10:12)

She accepted the counsel of her teacher which did not make her popular in the world. She was mocked, criticized, and persecuted for confessing God’s promises since she did not have the result to show for it. She did not attend secular concerts, listen to secular songs, or watch secular movies. Instead, her time was spent in word study, praying, fasting, listening to sermons by God’s servant, attending night vigils, and much more. She lived a consecrated life, and this restricted her from having many friends which made it difficult for her to network professionally.

It was a painful and lonely process, but she chose to go through this sacrifice for God because she believed that God was worth it. For she thought to herself, “If I can patiently wait five (5) years for a B.sc Certificate, then God is worth the wait and pain”. So, her life revolved around the church, library, work, and family. There was not much vacation or party at the weekend because she spent all her time working on her personal development and achieving kingdom prosperity (Lam 3:27).

But she serves a God that rewards those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6), and in the seventh/eighth year, God lifted and announced her to the world as His Manager/Treasurer in whom He delights in and whom He is pleased with. She became a kingdom manager/billionaire with her soul still for Jesus whose only joy came from doing God’s will (Mark 8:36).

Jenny

Jenny on the other hand chose the path of her teacher. Her teacher taught her to separate God from business if she wanted to go far, so she did. She did not build her business on the word of God as the anchor or foundation but instead chose to partner with people solely based on intellectual and financial capacity.

She did not meet her spiritual parents to teach her how her business could glorify God and win souls for the kingdom of God, and this affected her spiritual life as the only people she was taking counsel from were people that were not in the kingdom and had no understanding of walking with the Holy Spirit. So, they taught her that “white lies” is the way to attract investors, she learnt that the best places to find investors was at the bar, casino, and the party of the “rich” which could happen in their home, yacht, etc.

Jenny’s spiritual life gradually went down as her financial life went up. She did not leave Jesus completely but her heart and desire for Jesus had gotten cold as majority of her time was spent with people that lived in the world and disregarded the counsel of God’s servants. Thus, she could not effectively minister to her professional colleague about Jesus because she was known to associate and party with people of the world. But there is still hope for Jenny, she can choose to go back to her first love, Jesus, and God would build her up in a way that would make her a light to her generation.

Counsel

One thing to understand about business is that it is a long-term venture that takes time to build. Business partners would be required to spend significant time together to plan, develop and implement business strategies. What we fail to overlook is that, subconsciously we begin to learn each others habit, way of thinking and behavioural pattern whether good or bad.

This is why scriptures advice that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Cor 6:14-18). An unbeliever in this context is one that has chosen not to regard the counsel or wisdom of God in all areas of life whether spiritual, financial, professional, business, etc.

I hope the above examples has been able to help you distinguish the difference between achieving generational wealth God’s way and the world’s way. Be rest assured that kingdom prosperity is in God’s plan for each of us (Jer 29:11), but there is a WAY that God has developed which is in our best interest to follow (Joshua 1:8).

Conclusion

It is important that we start by knowing God’s character so that we can learn to trust Him and His ways by believing that He truly has our best interest at heart.

You are welcome to worship with us this Sunday.
