Wired to Hear
Everyone does not carry the gift to write. We are wired to hear. Not necessarily with our ears. We hear with our spirits and receive the message.
We have the same five basic senses as others to see, hear, smell, taste and touch. But the gift of the writer carries another sense in our spirits. Once we experience the five in any area, we then have the ability to hear our experiences and then have the skill to write about it.
Some non-fiction books are written from how a writer experiences what they see or hear. Some fiction books can be written from the experiences of smell and taste. Some poetry can be written from how the writer experiences all five of the basic senses.
As we go about our daily lives, thoughts begin to invade our minds about what we experience. This is just like everyone else but what makes a writer different is we have hear the inspiration in our spirit which tells us to write.
Write. Write. Write it down. Just write.
So surrendering to what we are wired to hear, we once again reflect who we are…writers.
