Wired Accepted into Scandinavian International Film Festival – A Proud Moment for The Team

I’m incredibly proud to share that Wired, the short film I had the pleasure of producing, has been officially selected to screen at the Scandinavian International Film Festival (SCIFF) in Helsinki, Finland. As a producer, moments like these are the culmination of hard work, dedication, and collaboration. To see the film recognised by such a prestigious and internationally renowned festival is truly a rewarding experience.

SCIFF has earned a stellar reputation in the world of independent cinema, attracting filmmakers and audiences from across the globe. The festival’s commitment to innovative and boundary-pushing films makes it the perfect venue for Wired, a project that delves deep into the ethical dilemmas surrounding technology and human interaction. With its focus on showcasing unique and thought-provoking stories, SCIFF aligns perfectly with the spirit of Wired.

Reflecting on this achievement, I can’t help but feel immense gratitude for everyone involved in bringing this project to life. From the brilliant direction of Will Jewell to the efforts of the talented cast and crew, this film has been a labour of love. It’s heartening to see that the message and craftsmanship of Wired are being appreciated on an international stage.

As I said, “We are delighted that this world-renowned festival appreciates the talent behind our short film – Wired.” It’s not every day that a project gets recognised in such a meaningful way, and this selection only adds to the excitement we’ve already felt this year with screenings at Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and other leading festivals.

Will Jewell, the film’s director, shares my excitement. He noted, “I went to Helsinki years ago when my documentary screened there - it’s a beautiful city with a film-mad population, so I’m so happy Wired got selected for the festival!”
