No Wire, No Problem
A Note To Realtors
OK, here's the Set Up!
You have a new home buyer looking at one of your listings. They want to set up a home office, but the house is somewhat older and not wired to a TechReady standard and doing so would not be practical.
The Question:
Is there anything you can suggest to alleviate their concerns of poor Internet in a Home Office?
The Answer:
There sure is, why not suggest a Powerline Carrier Device (PLC) as an option?
Not every home is set up with Hardwired Ethernet, but every home is set up with electrical wiring, and that’s the beauty of PLC devices, they use the existing electrical wiring of your home to send Internet signals from one area to another.
PLC devices are very easy to set up and some of them even have built in WiFi which is a great feature to have if your WiFi doesn’t reach a certain area of the home. I personally us a PLC device in my home office, the Internet from my modem is placed on the electrical system of my home and delivered to my office, no fishing wires and no repairs to fix.
