WIPA Avant Garden Event-May, 2023

Imagine a garden of sweet and savory delights served in a most avant garde way. YUM! Eclairs of lobster salad, avocado-dill cream served on our amber cake stand. Artichoke salad of grilled baby artichokes, avocado, mint salsa verde, lemon, anchovy, parsley, and pistachios served in pink sorbet cups elevated on pink cake stands. Prawn agua chili is pickled red onion, cucumber, jalapeno, mint, cilantro, radish and greens served in clear sorbet cups set on oval floral platters, depression glass green and pink cake stands. Parmesan, chive and truffle madeleines presented on our tiered floral stands.

Dish & Decor Vintage Rental was pleased to be serving up all the delicious sweet and savory foods and specialty drinks in our vintage rentals at the recent Wedding International Professionals Association-Chicago (WIPA) Avant Garden event. The edible living garden food stations displayed all the delicious foods in such a creative way. Garden chic!

Not only were we able to connect with colleagues in the wedding business during the reception, we also gained new insights from the keynote speaker. Kristi Drago-Price of Editor's Edge presented "Blue Print to a Standout Brand". Dish & Decor also provided whimsical decor for the presenter's backdrop. Check out those aliens!

Signature drink of vodka, aperol, hibiscus ginger tea, elderflower with lemon featured in our vintage teacups and saucers with a large round ice cube was quite unique and just one of the many creative moments at this event.
