International Inuit Day - November 7th 2024:
The wintranslation team is dedicated to supporting Inuit language preservation and cultural continuity through our translation services. On November 7th, we recognized International Inuit Day, which focuses on the contributions, cultural heritage, and challenges of Inuit communities across the regions of Inuit Nunangat and beyond. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with and learn from organizations like the Inuit Circumpolar Council, Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada, and Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & Two-Spirit People - October 4th, 2024:
At wintranslation, we believe in the power of language to amplify voices, preserve stories, and advocate for change, and we stand with Indigenous communities to demand justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). To commemorate the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, which took place October 4th, we gathered some important materials aimed at fostering a greater understanding and action on this critical issue.

Orange Shirt Day & National Day of Truth & Reconciliation - September 30, 2024:
At wintranslation, we are committed to uplifting Indigenous voices and supporting cultural continuity through our language translation services, guided by partnerships with Language Keepers, Elders, and translators. To mark September 30 – Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – we wore orange to honour the children sent to residential schools and to stand with survivors who carry the legacy of these institutions. Reconciliation is a shared responsibility that starts with learning, listening, and taking meaningful action.
