I’m sure it's not just me but who else is fed up being told how many days there are until Christmas? 72, if you wanted to know. However, that being said, with Christmas normally come snow days and if like me you are a business owner, a snow day can cause havoc to your business. 

Many companies have a plan but how many times do we hear the Weather Men say we are not getting snow only to wake up and have a snow-covered garden and then the dreaded thought of how I’m getting to work and more worryingly how my staff are getting to work! 

If your staff can't make it into the office or attend their place of work, what plan do you have to keep your business running? The cost to businesses would be millions in lost revenue all because workers couldn’t answer phone calls. 

Nearly all our clients were able to carry on working as we had a predetermined Snow Day Plan ready to action for them. Something that can be rolled out the night before or in the morning in very quick fashion.

• Answering office calls on either a remote phone, soft client or mobile application
• The ability to change a voice mail message to tell people your business is experiencing problems due to bad weather and their call is important. This voicemail can then be distributed via email.
• Routing calls to another office or location.
