Winter is coming!

Winter is coming!

Stanley's Note:

Winter is Coming!

And with it brings new challenges.

What does the change of season mean for you?

For us it means renewed enthusiasm.

April/May is always a slow period for us relative to the rest of the year.

June things start to heat up.

And by July we are back in to full swing with the remaining 6 months of the year.

Businesses are ready again to engage with marketing their products and services and have gotten over the busy start of the year we all have had.

So, my team and I decided that instead of sitting around and waiting for clients to be ready we would instead upskill ourselves, upgrade our facilities and equipment and hire in more experts to expand our capabilities.

So, what have we done?

1. We built our dream studio where we have all the resources and space to produce any content necessary. With multiple sets and fit outs to choose from we have a space for everything.

2. We upgraded all our gear, from cameras to microphones to lighting. Allowing us to record in better quality and easier.

3. We upskilled as a team and have all learnt processes to produce things like podcasts with live recording, animated videos, vlogs and much more that won't cost our clients tens of thousands of dollars like traditional content agencies would charge.

4. We hired some amazing new people like Chris Morgan our amazing new photographer, famous for shooting bands like Six60, Shihad and L.A.B. We've bought on Jony Lee with 430,000 followers on TikTok to help us develop our short form video capabilities and maximise these new and exciting platforms likes TikTok.

All of this so that we are ready for whatever our clients throw at us this Winter.

What are you doing to prepare for the change of seasons?

Does it impact you at all?

From prancing through the fields of the Aum festival in a cowboy hat to filming podcasts in the new Attention Seeker studio, Sian sits down with eCommerce Manager Josef Arnet to talk about his career journey.

Josef's story can be defined as a crash course in business when straight out of university, he began to build a business with live-in co-workers.

It’s hard to truly learn about business unless you immerse yourself in it. No matter the outcome, taking risks and putting yourself out there in the business world will teach you some important life lessons and help you on your journey.

Do you sometimes feel like everyone's trying to be an influencer? Last week Stan and Drew discussed what it means to be an influencer in the current climate.

People often assume that becoming an influencer means you need to have some special skill or attribute, but sometimes it comes from creating a pseudo-friendship. There needs to be a value exchange, and your perception of ‘value’ may be different to someone else’s.

It's possible to be an influencer for small online ecosystems and a vast empire of people like the Kardashians. The options and definitions of ‘influencer’ are endless. Either way, it takes a lot of work to build your brand to be an influencer.
