Winning On YouTube Is Hard!

Looking at this post its hard to appreciate the effort its taken for me to get to 999 subscribers on YouTube! I got on YouTube in 2006, or close to 20 years ago. I have had on and off years in that time where I'd post videos consistently and sporadically, with quite honestly many mixed results. Its a pickle, for sure. Wueh!
In the last couple of years, ever since I started Pure Digital Passion, my podcast, I have been consistently posting video podcasts as my mainstay content and the results have been encouraging, if not frustrating at times - nothing kills your motivation when you work so hard on content and you get mediocre views at the end of it all!
However, one thing I now know is that this is clearly a game of patience, and consistency. I am now convinced that there is no such thing as an overnight success story on YouTube, or any social media platform for that matter. Winning in this space is a process of grinding away on a daily basis and not losing focus if results take longer than expected to show up.
Having spoken to a few successful YouTubers in Kenya and beyond, one thing they have all told me is that once you hit 1,000 subscribers something magical happens! Subscribers become a deluge and traffic as well as subscribers really takes off. Its as if YouTube finally deems you 'fit for purpose' and turns on their algorithm's afterburners to accelerate your growth.
So, sitting here at 999 subscribers today, I'm so ready to buckle up, and hopefully, take off to whole new level in terms of my YouTube results. Wish me luck! as I feel the need, the need for speed - If you know, you know!

2 个月So, have you passed the 1,000 mark, I was going to subscribe but you seem to have forgotten to share the link to your channel which might explain it's slow growth ??. The second reason is that you must be engaging serious Kenyans who have an aversion to acknowledging those they get their information from, I suggest you through in a few cat video s to bring in thw kind of audience that wants to belong and be associated. Now share that link we put you out of your misery.
