As professionals, we’ve often heard about the importance of building new connections, attending events, and expanding our networks. While these strategies are undeniably valuable, there's one aspect of networking that often gets overlooked: tapping into our existing social and professional circles.

Job seekers tend to focus their efforts on making new connections while neglecting the treasure trove of opportunities that lie within their current networks. Think about it: you've already built relationships with family, colleagues, mentors, classmates, and friends who know your strengths, skills, and aspirations.
