When I started the business in 2014 my focus was on creating and delivering services clients were asking for, rather than creating what I wanted and then working out how I sold it to people!

To this day we still use that same process for deciding where to invest our time and resources in developing new offerings. In the last year we have created three new services as a result of this process:

1.?? Basic Search Service - a low cost, simple yet effective tender notification service. No frills, no sorting, just results. If you want one email a week to check so you can see what opportunities are out there. This service is for you. And its only ￡25 + VAT per month!

2.?? Online 'How to win work through tenders' Course - this very popular, self-study, online, super simple, accessible course provides the basics of tendering across 8 modules. It is perfect for a non-bid person, working in bids. On completing the course you'll understand the tender process better and what is involved at each stage to ensure your tenders/bids are successful. This is the perfect starting point for your year.

3.?? The Bid Club - we recognise bid training and development for those working in SMEs on bids was very limited. Outside of formal training days/qualifications or conferences, there weren't many options. If you work in an SME and are either tasked with bids alongside your day job or are in a small bid team with limited internal support/opportunities for personal and professional growth and development - The Bid Club was built for you. 12 months of training, development, mentoring, best practice collaboration, support, advice, guidance, access to documents/templates and guides for ￡100 + VAT per month is the best investment you will make this year in improving your business win rate

??Focus In - Top Tips ??

My focus this week has been on setting out our strategy for 2025 which is centred around the word consistency.

I want to ensure everything we do is consistent. We offer consistency to you in having a bid team you can rely on, consistency in the high standards of delivery of much needed services and consistency in our ability to identify challenges and provide solutions to you.

Our services also ensure your bidding is consistent. even when you are busy we are still looking for new opportunities for you through the Search, writing your responses and generally ensuring we keep on top of things to leave you with the day job.

What are you going to focus on in your business/team this year? Maybe you have big growth plans? or Diversification? Stabilisation? Investment in training and upskilling? Or this could be the first year winning contracts in the Public Sector is a priority.
