In a dynamic and ever-evolving global landscape, staying abreast of the latest trends and developments is crucial for professionals across diverse industries. Recently, from the 15th to the 23rd of November 2023, a series of impactful events unfolded in Nigeria, bringing together experts, thought leaders, and enthusiasts from various fields. Among these were the NAPE 41st Annual International Conference and Exhibitions, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). the Africa Prosperity Summit, NME Expo, a workshop on MVNO Services, Zenith Tech Fair 2023, and the New Horizons summit. These events served as platforms for networking, knowledge exchange, and appreciation of industry stalwarts.

NAPE 41st Annual International Conference and Exhibitions (15th – 16th November 2023): Organized by the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), this annual gathering brought together professionals in the petroleum and energy exploration sector. The conference featured insightful discussions on emerging technologies, sustainable practices, and the future of the energy industry. Participants had the opportunity to engage in panel sessions, workshops, and explore cutting-edge technologies at the exhibition.

Africa Prosperity Summit 2023 ( 16th November 2023): The Africa Prosperity Summit aimed to foster discussions on economic growth, investment opportunities, and sustainable development across the continent. Experts and policymakers gathered to explore strategies for enhancing prosperity and creating an environment conducive to business and innovation.

NME Expo - The Nigerian Manufacturing & Equipment Expo (21st November 2023): Focused on the manufacturing sector, the NME Expo provided a platform for industry players to showcase new technologies, equipment, and innovations. This event played a vital role in promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and fostering growth in Nigeria's manufacturing industry.

MVNO Services Workshop (22nd November 2023): The Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) workshop delved into the latest trends and developments in the telecommunications industry. Participants had the opportunity to learn from experts and gain insights into the evolving landscape of MVNO services in Nigeria.

Zenith Tech Fair 2023 (23rd November 2023): Hosted at the Eko Hotel, the Zenith Tech Fair showcased technological advancements across various sectors. From artificial intelligence to sustainable technologies, the fair provided a glimpse into the future of innovation in Nigeria.

New Horizons – Doing Business with Nigeria (23rd November 2023) Dubai Chambers of Commerce: This summit at the Eko Hotel aimed to explore opportunities and challenges in doing business with Nigeria. Entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers engaged in discussions on strategies for sustainable business growth and development.

During these events, it was essential to appreciate the contributions of key individuals who have played pivotal roles in their respective fields. Notable figures like Chisom Ajaero from Total Energies, Dr. Dahiru Mohammed, and Mr. Ajay Kumar of Dana Pharmaceuticals were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to the industry. Additionally, the presence of dignitaries such as HRH Prince Harold Olamilokun and Khalid Al Ali, the Regional Director of Dubai Chambers of Commerce (Africa), added a global perspective to the discussions.

The events also provided an opportunity to recognize the efforts of Dele K. Oye , the National President of the Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce (NACCIMA), and Irene Oyarekhua, PMP , Chief Representative of Nigeria at the Dubai Chambers of Commerce. Furthermore, the presence of renowned figures like John Obidi and Sam Dede (actor) added a touch of diversity to the gatherings.
