Winning an International Competition

Winning an International Competition

Just a month ago, Jacob Gutierrez-Montoya and the Hawkins Contemporary Jazz Company brought home the Grand Prize from The Choreography Festival in Palm Desert. This is an international competition combining both professional and nonprofessional pieces. This team is a nonprofessional group of kids ranging in age of 13 to 17. Yes, my daughter is among them.

Here is the thing. Winning an international competition is uncommon. It takes uncommon commitment and energy to raise the bar. We often know what we want. Getting there is about managing the little things and winning the day to day battles. We can rise even higher by asking and looking for more. Expect the uncommon.

Smart Process Applications can help make companies uncommon by managing the little things. The things that cause delays. The simple tasks that clog the day. At Western Integrated Systems we measure success one automated task at a time. Yea, we have analytics measuring every step for us- it makes it easier.

Take the time to ask "What if". Take the time to enjoy this award winning performance. Jacob brings so much truth and life to this wonderful song. Congrats again to Jacob and his dancers! Video by Drew Roublick.
