Winning Is Easier With a Clear Value Proposition

It's a dog-eat-dog world and everyone is offering something. Those who offer what they are best at will, at least statistically, find the most success. Whether your "offering" is your work in a non-profit, a government organization, a private practice, or a professional freelancer, there's a common theme: if you can clearly define what you do best, and correctly message it to your target audiences, there's much higher probability that people will care about you at least a little more than "not at all."

While this may sound somewhat like a self-help seminar, there won't be any trust falls. We will, however, be diving into some best practices and digital techniques -- both for a personal platform as well as for an organization -- that you can use to clearly show your highest value. Don't worry, though: if we see your eyes start to glaze over we'll flip to the next slide, we promise.

Presenters:

Ashtan Moore is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Model B, leading the creation of Model B’s growth-hacking marketing services to help companies and entrepreneurs increase sales, communicate with key audiences, and drive influence in the marketplace. With a background in engineering, Ashtan built Model B’s digital marketing platforms to employ smart algorithms, helping companies use the power of big data online to achieve nearly any sales or communications objective.

In 2013, Ashtan helped to spearhead the launch of McBee Digital, a division of D.C. public affairs firm McBee Strategic, serving as Vice President of Digital. Leveraging over a decade of experience in developing online solutions to drive offline goals, Ashtan led the division by crafting strategic thought leadership and brand elevation campaigns, interfacing with designers and developers to create campaigns with a focus on goal-oriented, measurable results for clients from Fortune 100 companies, to sovereign entities, to start-up ventures.

Prior to McBee, Ashtan launched and managed Moore Simply, a lightweight digital strategy firm with a focus on online presence development, brand identity, and the development of engaging digital content. As the company's reputation grew, the scope of projects broadened to include highly specialized skills, such as international crisis remediation support. Ashtan is known for creating digital campaigns that accomplish things you could never imagine – for example, making world leaders cry.

Mohib Zubairi (Hibby) is Director of Business Solutions at Model B, spearheading Model B’s Business Development and Partnership efforts. Hibby’s work amplifies the Model B mission, bringing together passionate entrepreneurs, executives, and operators and connecting them to high-value resources. By providing clients with connections and resources through the Model B platform – many that would otherwise be unavailable to them – Hibby enables them to leverage their strengths and overcome obstacles to achieve exponential and sustainable growth.

Prior to Model B, Hibby ran a Professional Services business unit at GANTECH, an IT systems integrator modernizing data center services through innovations of virtualization technology. Hibby grew the business unit from the ground up, leveraging strategic partnerships with key vendors, distributors, and consulting firms to white label GANTECH’s services.

Hibby is also a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and taught for eight years prior to starting at GANTECH.
