"Paul": When I was overweight, sick and unhealthy, people said nothing. When I decided to take charge of my health, people said I was fine, I didn't need to change anything. I will never go back to bad health, if I can help it, again.
Paul's experience doesn't just apply to health, it applies to work, too. Many people are living personal and/or professional unhappiness. They're more comfortable in that state than they are in making a change. And they want YOU to stay right with them in collective misery.
Nope.
When you decide to get a new job, invest in getting paid more money, move to a new state/country, go back to school, expect shade from some so-called friends and some family, too.
You'll probably have to cut some people off. Because winners hang with winners. Investing in YOU and valuing YOU is winning.
If you're getting negativity when you know you're doing something positive, that's a sign to keep going. Remember: No one hates on losers. Hate (jealousy) is for winners. You owe you to keep winning.
