Here's my opinion - the world of business has become very competitive and this will only intensify in 2024. And businesses that rely solely on organic marketing such as social media, referrals and mall footfall (for brick & mortar) as their main marketing channel(s) will lose.
Organic reach on social media is declining, referrals are harder to come by, and even foot traffic in malls is being challenged by many other factors including non-traditional shopping avenues. Therefore winning the attention of your customers requires proactive effort.
A single marketing channel, no matter how effective, simply won't cut it anymore. Customers are everywhere - online, on social media, listening to podcasts, watching videos etc. You need to be where they are, with messages tailored to each platform and seamlessly integrated. This means having an omnichannel strategy.
However, remember that omnichannel isn't just about being everywhere at once. It's about creating a cohesive experience across all channels, with consistent messaging and a clear brand identity.
In my opinion, an effective omnichannel strategy for 2024 should include SEO, Paid Ads (Search & Social), Personal Branding as well as the non-traditional avenues such as Influencer & Podcast Marketing where applicable.

However, regardless of the channel, high-quality, valuable content that resonates with your audience is still essential for attracting and retaining customers.
By embracing an omnichannel mindset and effectively utilizing the various channels mentioned, your business can navigate the competitive landscape of 2024 and beyond.
