Kate wrote that she loves to learn and intends to teach others what she learns at BTUA Paris. Here's her brilliant advice for CEOs and leaders.

1) Invest in your administrative staff – not just monetarily – though training courses will pay themselves back over and over, but in less tangible ways – check in on them regularly, look out for opportunities where they can contribute beyond their role, remember they are a great source of advice, support and information. Appreciation comes in many forms – a kind word, an appropriate compliment means far more than an expensive gift thoughtlessly given.

2) Relax – We can tell when you are stressed, worried and nervous, and whilst you may not realise it, you transmit those nerves to us and others around you. Don’t try so hard to be one of the team – the team needs a leader, and like you to be one. Just be you.

3) Give back – It’s a big, harsh world out there – please find ways for you and your organisation to remember those who are not as fortunate – the homeless, the environment, the sick, those in war zones – wherever your charitable thoughts take you, ensure you give this prominence for you and your staff – even setting up volunteering hours for staff to give back – it’s not all about the money, time and expertise are highly sought by charities too. And you and your staff will grow immeasurably as a result.
