A bringer of messages - correspondence from the divine 

A skilled watchman who will call - if dangers near 

Alerting it's community

An intricate "Caw" you will hear!

A great memory and scholars mind

Remembering faces for a long time

Misunderstood and free

An air of mystery 

For some a real divide

Often a reminder of the dark side

Plumage black as night with subtle shades of blue

A harbinger of death 

For some this is true 

Ancient keepers of magic and dreams 

Stories in books with crafted seams

Bound treasure troves of old

Where knowledge is like gold

Direct connections to the mind - both conscious and below 

Lucky for some who see - the beloved crow

A winged wonder 

Wise and free

With his gift of second sight

A creature with dual purpose-representing shadows and light xx
